HISTORY OF T-SHIRT

T-shirt has become an icon in the fashion world, whether you follow the trend or not, you will no doubt have a few if not many in your wardrobe.Becoming popular among working class until its integration as a cult and fashion icon when film such as ''Rebel without cause and A Street car named desire'' cemented the t-shirt position into popular culture. It is also a message board, where slogan, symbol, and logos broadcast messages to the audience.

As slip -on garment without buttons, the earliest T-shirt dates back to sometimes between the 1898 Spanish-American world war and 1913,when the U.S navy began issuing them as a undergarments. These were crew necked, short sleeved,white cotton undershirt to be worn under uniforms.It is a style of unisex fabric shirt named after the T shape of its body and sleeves.
