BURBERRY

Burberry bespoke are Italian made suits in slim and classic cuts,picked out in Prince of Wales check and pin stripes.Thomas Burberry establishes Burberry in Basingstoke in just 21 years old.He invented Gabardine- the breathable waterproof and hard wearing fabric.Burberry celebrates diversity and inclusitivity with the rainbow vintage check throughout its February collection.

GUCCI

Gucci recently launched made to measure suit.The Gucci men's tailoring collection is a selection of formal suiting that will be available in store,off the rack.Gucci inspired heritage with larger lapels and thin sleeves and the modern Marsicle,which is tapered through the body,to the classic signoria.The suit will than be altered specification.

PAUL SMITH

Paul Smith is Britain's foremost designer.He is renowned for his creative aesthatic,which combines tradition and modernity.Smith's greatest attribute is simplicity.He has describes his designs as ''well- made,good quality,simple cut,interesting fabric,easy to wear and often adds a splash of vibrant color,a floral print or his signature multi-colored stripes.In October 2011 Smith was shortlisted for 2011 Prince Phillips Designer's prize.

RICHARD JAMES

The first Richard James shop opens at 37 A Saville Row.The brand receives the Men's wear designer of the year award from the British Fashion council.It also provides all the suits for Hugh Grant in Bridget Jones diary.In 2007 Richard James Bespoke opens on Clliford street.This year also sees the debut of its first fragrance collection.He is a founding member of the ''Saville Row Bespoke Association''.

Trickle across and Trickle up theory

TRICKLE-ACROSS THEORY Proponents of the trickle across theory claim that fashion moves horizontally between groups on similar social levels. In this theory, there is little lag time between adoption from one group to another.
